Terms of Service
The agreement that governs your use of the platform, your account, and the content you share.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using this platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Service ("we", "us").
2. Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. We may require additional age verification where the law demands it. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Enable two-factor authentication where available. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts we reasonably believe are compromised.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, hateful, or infringing; impersonate any person or entity; scrape, crawl, or harvest data without written permission; reverse engineer, probe, or attempt unauthorized access to any system; transmit malware; or send unsolicited or bulk messages (spam). We may remove content and restrict accounts that violate this section.
5. User Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you create and submit ("User Content"). See the Content Licensing document for the limited licence you grant us to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it.
6. AI Features
The Service uses AI for matching, summarisation, moderation, and content suggestions. These features are provided "as is", may be inaccurate, and must not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or other critical decisions. AI outputs do not represent our views. We may use de-identified data to improve these features as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All Service design, software, trademarks, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Except for your own User Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Copyright & DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent laws. To report infringing content, submit a takedown notice through the in-app "Report a copyright concern" flow or email legal@qynta.app. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or USD 100.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us before pursuing formal proceedings.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@qynta.app or raised through the in-app "Report a Bug" / support feature.
